Whhat did you have for dinner?

It's always fun to see what other people are having for dinner.

This is chicken fried rice (homemade) with store-bought potstickers, and Pot de Creme which comes out of the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook which I'm currently trying to make my way through. Well, the desserts and baking at least. I was watching TV and had company so that is a collapsible table in front of a recliner. Don't judge me to harshly.

Certain people will be out of the house this weekend, so the rest of us will be having foods they don't like so much. Tonight will be quiche and tomorrow we'll order Chinese.

Shepherds pie for us tonight. We tend to make a big batch and freeze half for a future easy meal. Just pulled the ground lamb out of the fridge to finish thawing.

Fish & chips here tonight. I am stuck in a RUT with dinner ideas, so looking forward to getting inspiration from all of you!

We’re eating one of our favorite soups - a version of Soupe au Pistou - made with tomatoes, zucchini, onions, garlic, turnips, carrots, potatoes, cannellini beans and pasta. I serve it topped with pesto rather than the French pistou because I always have pesto in the frig. Sourdough bread on the side!
