Thank you Vicki! It was a mold as I'm not that good!
Um… the color gradations are incredibly accurate, and the fact that you even got them out of the molds… really they are amazing.

Peche de vigne is a great peach scent!!
It’s funny - I’m sure it’s me but I can barely smell anything from Peche de Vigne. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I made soap last night - more skulls and gnomes lol. However I did a slab mold pop bottle pour on Tuesday night. I changed my recipe from my usual slow moving (extra ability to swirl), because I didn't have the main oil and I was too lazy to go to the store to buy more. The new recipe sped up trace really quick, even without the fragrance added yet. But I just kept going and it became more liquid as I went (weird). I think it was the temp - I did a bit higher temp than normal. Almost threw in the towel because after everything was poured, I dropped a pour cup and spatula right on top. Anyways, here are the pics of the cut.
LOVE It!

"POP BOTTLE"??? Please tell me you are from Pittsburgh, PA!

I made a double batch of rose soap today and made a (tik tok) video of it to post on my social media. Result: nine minutes of the kitchen ceiling doing what a kitchen ceiling does best - nothing! Turns out it was using the front camera on my phone! Grrrrrr!
Anyhoo, cutting tomorrow morning and I'd like you all to pray to the soap gods for me that I haven't made a meat soap (red, peach pink and white colours ITP swirl)
Mom? Is that you?

Yesterday at my regular Saturday market I gave away my “precycled” soap for earth day. People liked it! I had made a mold on my 3D printer which worked pretty well - I have some ideas for improvements. The loaf molds and cutter I use result in thin cutoffs at each end - so I made discs to go in the center (on the surface) of each bar. (Well, some bars, after I thought of it.) I have an abundance of saved shavings and trimmings so I was happy to do something with them. Also, hopefully new customers will get hooked on my soap. Ya know, the old ”first one is free” trick. 👍😊

Canada actually. I think people in the US call it soda. Lol
It’s “pop“ in the Upper Midwest (US) where I’m from. Now that I live in the South, I still call it pop just to be contrary to everyone here who calls it “coke” no matter what fizzy drink they’re drinking! I refuse to call it Coke unless it’s an actual Coca-Cola! 😆

Grew up in Western New Yowl (1/2 hour outside of Buffalo). We called it “pop.” Moved to Boston, where they called it “soda.” I eventually adopted the latter. Now that I’m in California, where everyone calls it “soda,” and my immediate family (who all moved to AZ) still calls it “pop,” it’s always a conversation starter when we go out to dinner and my dad asks what kind of “pop” they have.

My dad REFUSES to call it “soda.”* And he doesn’t like Coke, only Pepsi. And most restaurants serve Coke. But he’s such a control freak (I say that in the nicest way possible) that he makes an issue of it with the server whenever we go out to dinner.

*per my last message above, he and my mom moved from NY to AZ about 12 years ago.
