I made whipped sugar scrubs. I watched the soap and clay method of making like a cream soap from shavings about 30 times. And also read through all of the threads in this forum of knowledge and experience pertaining to single lye cream soap. About a year ago I made a really nice soap probably my third batch of soap. my third batch was a soap made with cocoa powder infused with oil and a banana. It's a really nice recipe I use way too much infused oil because my lather is brown but it's fine with me it rinses away nicely. I do not sell anything. This is just an experiment. I added sugar at 100% of the total weight. I really like oh I did add 5% SCI and 5% bubble up. I added the surfactants because I had not used a high percentage of coconut oil in my original recipe. Hopefully tomorrow I will make a batch of coconut oil soap with a full goat's milk. I will shred it in my rotary cheese grater to make the grating easier on me. then I will cook them down and try to make another batch of this using 100% coconut oil goat's milk soap. I would like to make a shaving cream out of I have not yet ventured into dual lye. I did not add a preservative to these four jars because I know these will be used very quickly. I will use preservative once I find a product I really love. J

Made these little cuties today for a friend…. Melt and pour with embed paper. Scented with NS Apple.

What's embed paper ? Is it especially soap related.
For my last soap of the year, I decided to create a humorous theme. What with drones flying everywhere...Flying Saucer Soap! Then my boyfriend inserted a cool backdrop from chat GPT. Fun
@Relle It is special for melt & pour soap. I get it from WSP. Whatever image you can size to your mold, print and cut out can be on a soap.
Their site says:
Sheet Size: 8.5" x 11". Great for printing special designs and messages for embedding into bars of melt & pour soap. Paper remains intact until soap is used to point of embed. At that time, paper dissolves in water. Can be used with laser or inkjet printers.
Interesting. Only works for melt & pour? They are very pretty!!

Thanks for the info, I'll try and track down here, they don't do International postage.
I joined the Soap Challenge Club for the first time this month. Entry closes tomorrow and life has been hectic and I wasn't able to make my entry before tonight. I tried tonight, and something went wrong and my soap accelerated so fast that is just turned out a big mess. I tried adding my FO to the oils hoping it's work better, but it certainly didn't. Somehow each time I've tried that it makes my well behaving FO's act up. I also added some sodium lactate which I almost never use. It was a 60% solution I made 2 years ago and has been sitting on the shelf since then, so maybe the age messed with it. I'm not sure. Either way, it won't be an entry.

I used Earth Meets Sky from Nurture Handmade. I am pretty sure it behaved well last time I used it, but I lost my notes.

I batched some lye....and tried to impress on my mother to treat it like bomb for danger. She's lived with us since my step-father died and she keeps poo-pooing when I tell her to be careful.

It's not hardening properly either. I've used the recipe before and it works well, but I messed something up this time! That's what I get for trying to sneak in a soaping session right before bed. It looks awful! Patchouli Bacon anyone?

I made 2 batches today without any obvious catastrophes. They are wrapped up resting, so I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow! Hopefully they'll be better.If it wasn't messed up I'd tell you to grate it and make it look like a hamburger soap just for a joke.I made my first meat soap.
