I cut some soap 
the swirl is straightforward soap (unscented) and the solid light green is goat milk soap scented with eucalyptus and cotton FO from brambleberry.
I’m wondering for those who use goat milk powder how much powder you put in your soap. I’m currently using what seems to me a very small amount (2.5%, or abt 10g per 400g oils) and I’m wondering how high I can push that. I can certainly feel a difference in the soap even at that level!

Got back from vacation and needed to bevel the pink grapefruit scented shea butter soap that was at the bottom of my stack of bread trays. Quickly realized that that setup will not work (soap is so heavy
) so I bought another shelving unit with 8 shelves (7 for soap loaded bread trays and 1 for other crap stuff).

I use however much it would take to reconstitute the liquid in the recipe. If my gm powder is 3 tbsp:8 oz water and have 8 oz water, then I use 3 tbspI cut some soap

I attempted a Ciaglia soap today. I certainly hope it looks better out of the mold than it does in the mold. I couldn't get the old shreds broken up very small at all, and my fragrance thickened really fast. It looks so nasty and chunky right now.
I visited my local Hobby Lobby and looked at the soapmaking stuff there. I found a new loaf mold! It's the same size as the one I use l the time (32oz oils, 35% lye concentration) and it was only 8.99.
They also have a generic blend of soapmaking oils with no oil percentages anywhere on the bottle. Doesn't sound like the greatest product idea to me, but maybe I'm biased.
I'm happy that they are making more things for people interested in CP soapmaking though.

Yesterday at my prenatal appointment the doctor put me on lifting restrictions, so today I made TWO batches of soap, neither of which required any heavy lifting!
I made my first dish soap, following Holly's recipe and method. I hope it cures before we run out of Dawn!
I also made a 5# tall-skinny loaf of my father-in-law's favorite milk chocolate peppermint. I was trying to get that one made so it would be cured by Christmas. Oh well.

Lovely soap! I use 3% GMP in my recipe. 30g for 1000g fats/oils.

I've seen that same product posted in a Facebook group. I think that the percentages might be online maybe on their website. If I remember correctly on the Facebook post they did mention the percentages of each oil. I definitely agree the percentage should be on the bottle. Someone called the company 1/3 olive oil 1/3 Palm 1/3 coconut. I have never used it.

Thank you!! Next I would like to try a silver Mica drizzle. I'm going to make a small 1 lb batch tester size mold from a corrugated piece of plastic.
That sounds like it will be very pretty too!
