One more batch of Deep Space soap to go after this one. The only request I had was “the more sparkles, the better.” I’ve done my best to deliver!

And the cut of 3 of the 4🤯

I think I did okay. Patterns match my vision. Colors, not so much. But that blue is BLUE BLUE😳

The lemon is still to soft to unmold. And the scents are all missing😭 I hope they return🤞🏿
Went out and came back and the scents are there! Also cut the lemon soap but it looks more orange/tangerine (to much tumeric🤦🏿‍♂️)🤣

Oh, @Mobjack Bay , that is so, um, celestial. Please post the cut NOW.

And @justsomeguy , what, are you channeling Daniel Burnham making no small plans?! How much do ya make at a time and does it all stay fluid?! That blue/black on the left is really, really stunning. I'm partial to blue. Good job, man.

I love that one too! My mind just boggles at the thought of doing it

It's a pomace/coconut/castor batter. The uncolored batter was fluid forever. Shocked me. It didn't even take an hour to do all that work because I only made one batch of lye water and only one fragrance accelerated (I added batter to the bergamot first but it was the 3rd mold I filled and it was still fluid 🤯)

Thanks!

I'm learning so much here from everyone.

I’ve come to the revelation that I suck at combining more than two colors 😕 So today I stuck with what seems to be working best for me - Single color soaps using the hot process method. 🤗 I made a small batch using woad infused oil. It came out a really pretty soft pink and I gave it a pretty top. Also made an Aleppo style soap. I just love the laurel berry smell!! Put some candelaria flower to step in OO.
Time for wine!!!

Soap #2 ever! Looks like I got partial gel phase, though I’m not sure what all the lines in the gel phase center are? I do see lots of air bubbles too. Lots of room for improvement of course.
But these 2 colors together are 🥰🥰🥰

Made a few things the other day. I have never used embeds in soap before. Turned out pretty good. I just love the "White Christmas" Fo.
Those tiny stars are adorable 😍 I bet you will have fun with those!

I'm right there with you ~ I also suck at combining multiple colors 😄 and prefer to fall back one what I know (single colors). I like to be surprised by natural color combo variations 😄

Yeah, but colors can change over time, and if not - at least you know now! Really beautiful soaps, thanks for sharing!

I am rubbish at colours and swirls … it makes sense in my head, but I fall to pieces at the doing ;) I am with you on the natural colours — there was an IG account I saw recently and all the soaps were these gorgeous muted pastels. Gorgeous simplicity!

Absolutely!!! Two color swirling, preferably any color and white, are about all I can handle!!

Would you make a video of yourself making one of these deep space soaps just so I can watch the process? They always look soooo amazing!
