First slab turned out awesome!
And the mold held up well. Survived the overheating and everything
Made with a gelling agent. They look and feel like jello

Hi! So I'm on the fence about ordering WSP's Verbena FO. They have the 25% off sale going on right now, plus a freebie sample size of ANY of their FOs. I REALLYREALLYREALLY loved L'Occitane's Verbena when my husband worked for Delta and they were partners (we got 40% off everything) So, I got HOOKED on the scent of their soap, and haven't had it again for years since. Is it everything it's cracked up to be in the reviews? I'd SO appreciate your input before I order, or don't and miss out. Thanks so much, D

I'm stilllearning lol. I think bath fizz & foam sells a recipe. I justdid this simple one with gelatine and hand soap. Watch YouTube and you'll see quite a few tutorials

Sous vide infusions (150° for 26 hours):
From left to right:
Tumeric in high oleic sunflower (HOS)
Annatto in HOS
Alkanet root powder in HOS
Himalayan rhubarb in castor
Alkanet root powder in castor
And of course I did not get the Alkanet root in olive oil that I really needed

I did inventory to make sure I have everything I need prepped and ready to soap when my FOs and TD arrive this week. I've got to check my supply of lye and go buy a sheet of corrugated plastic to make reusable dividers because unless I can figure out a way to modify my cheese cutter or DIY a slab cutter, I'm going to have to make 2 loaves.

I made a slab of shea/coconut/castor soap scented with pink grapefruit. 3% Himalayan rhubarb infused castor with a pinch of Alkanet root infused castor for the pink. Hope the color holds

I finally got my soap stamp!! Repurposed a mallet from my husband and went to town 
The soap is made with infused oils. I was hoping for more intense colors but the m happy with the result.
