I know that all the Miss United States' say that they want world peace, but that only goes to show that they have never spent an evening opening up packages full of soaping supplies (lye, oils, butters, EOs and FOs) as well as the new awesomeness that is the 7.5kg 0.1g precision laboratory scale!

When they have done that, that's what they would say if they were honest. "Well, I'd like to come home to a big pile of soaping stuff.............."

Hey. What make of scales did you get, thinking of getting a new scale so I may as well get a good one!!

I agree. Waiting for some bits and pieces now. I have two weeks off soon so soapy times coming up. Probably should clean my house first...........maybe.

My favorite dream is winning the lottery and going to a soaper supply house! I live about 2 hours away from one and would need a moving truck to return home!!:-D

I got a ton of stuff last week. Lots of stuff to unpack it was great! Heaps of new mica colours to play with.

But now I think I need a new scale...

I'm waiting on some colorants from a HUGELY generous forum member... I don't know if she would want me to say her name so I won't. She was organizing her soaping supplies and had some extra colorants and I guess she'd seen my posts about how I've been wanting more colorants but can't afford them yet and offered them to me!

And then another anonymous shout out to the other HUGELY generous member here who sent me not just a stick blender for free, but other goodies!!! She sent me a pm after reading my thread asking about stick blender alternatives since my bf decided he hated making soap and I'd be making it at home (and not able to borrow his mothers stick blender). I was still at my bfs when it arrived, so I asked my roomate to open the box that arrived for me and tell me it was the stick blender. So he texts back that there was a stick blender and some essential oils and other stuff... I'm like, huh?? Well it turns out the forum member decided to just go ahead and pack in some extras into the flat rate box. It was like christmas when I got home and started finding all the goodies!

Oh, my, true confessions here -- I just got done spending more money than is sensible on a used lab-quality balance with a 2200 g capacity and a 0.01 gram accuracy. Don't tell Mr. D, please????!!! :)

:shh: I am not telling...What a great scale to own. Kinda reminds me of years past when I ordered my Sextant and did not tell the hubby until I learned how to use it. Oh how I would like a nice balance scale. Ours was left to our *snaky* partner
