Hi all,
Just made a ewes milk and honey castille soap with a small amount of beeswax (about 1%)...poured it last night and this morning it has an odd skin (presumably the beeswax) but is really soft underneath. The bottom of the soap which I can see through the plastic container is very dark, looks like a big brown patch.
I've not made a beeswax soap before and had to soap at a higher temperature (about 47 celcius) than I normally would, but all my previous milk/honey castille soaps have turned out fine.
Would greatly appreciate any input - can anyone tell me if this is normal? Or should I do a dreaded rebatch...
