My 2nd batch of soap was the lemon poppy seed from soap queens tutorial. It came out as pictured, and cured just fine. However, I just noticed that the white part with the poppy seeds is getting a orangey hue. It actually looks now to be settling into yellow part(which is the bottom half of the loaf). It's over 8 weeks since made. What can cause this to happen now? The one soap I've made that looked decent, is now morphing. What happened?

Without pictures, my first thought is DOS. Or perhaps something to do with the fragrances if you added some. Or maybe just the natural discoloration of your recipe.

I really need to learn how to post pics. That would be infinitely helpful. Strange how this occurred after curing I loved looking at the "ugly soaps" which by the way I thought were lovely, especially the alien brains. So cool! You're all so talented that even your mishaps can evolve into beautiful bars.

Pictures are quite easy. First you need to make a free account at a picture hosting site, I use tinypic.com. Once you get your account, you'll see a big green upload picture, use that to chose your photo and upload it. Once its uploaded, there will be a bunch of codes to the left of your photo, copy the one that says image code for forums then pastet that code into your post on here.

Soap queens recipe: 9.9oz CO
9.9oz OO
3.3oz RBO
4.6oz lye
10.8ozdistilled water
TD
Fizzy lemonade colorant
Luster black mica (for pencil line)
1T poppy seeds
1.5 oz total FO
Strange that it happened well after cure.
It didn't look like pics I've seen of the DOS. this was more uniform in tint. When I get a planer, I'm going to see if it's just on the surface, or if it's throughout.
As always, thank you for advice

Even easier than that (and overcomes the issues for people behind firewalls that block file hosting sites) is to use the "Manage Attachments" button - in the 'quick post' it is on the far left but on the line just above the 'submit' button. In the 'advanced' or quoting part of the site, it is underneath the tick boxes for signature and smilies

To expand on The Gent's suggestion, here is a step-by-step:

To post a picture, scroll down to the bottom of this thread to the "Quick reply" section. Write a message as usual.

Now, look for the button below your message that says "Manage attachments" and click on it. A small window will appear. Click the first "Browse" button and find the picture you want to upload. If you have a second picture to upload, repeat the process by clicking the second "Browse" button, etc.

Don't make your images too big (700 pixels by 700 pixels max) and don't make your picture files too large (390 kB max), or the upload won't work.

Now ... very important and easy to forget ... be sure to click the "Upload" button in the lower right part of the small window to actually transfer the pictures to SMF. You're done!

I've made the same soap (and loved it). I'm wondering if what you're seeing is the fizzy lemonade colorant migrating into the white upper portion of the soap. After time, mine does the same.

Well that's reassuring if that's what's happening to mine. Still working on uploading pics from my iPad. Thank you
