What exactly is Daphne Oil?

My husband loves this soap Anatolia Daphne - Olive Oil Soap (Single Bar)
Even though I've made him olive oil soap variations I know he's just humoring me and doesn't want to hurt my feelings. I made him buy some so I could test it out and see if I could make something similar-ish . The ingredients mention Daphne. Ive never even heard of that. Is that like laurel berry oil? I did some sleuthing and found a Turkish soap that namedrops Daphne and calls it 'Bay oil'...... its like I can't get a straight answer

Thanks to your thread though - I have now found a New Zealand source for Daphne FO which I have been looking for for some time
