I tried to make a soap that looked like a volcano but was duped by false trace I believe. As I think back on it, it traced much faster than it should have and forced me to do lot of glopping, which it shouldn't have done with my recipe and FO (Perfect Man). So the soap doesn't have very good texture but two bars turned out looking okay- or interesting anyhow!

I'm sorry that you had trouble with it, but I do love the look, especially the second one!

Definitely looks like a volcano, love it, the colours worked out well.

I Love them~ The Mountain, Red Lava, Smoke and Orange "sunset" are Beautiful~ Great Job!

Thank you! Although the smoke on the one on the right was a fluke. None of the other bars has it. It's a bit chalky looking but maybe it will looks less so with age. I might try again when I've regained some confidence as both my soaps from the weekend did not go at all as planned. have to think it through so I know where I'm getting stuck, which I think is keeping my oils a bit warmer.
