I think this one will come out nice. Thanks for all the help a few days back. This forum is great. Here's what I did. In ounces.48 olive oil
31 coconut
24.5 palm
4 shea butter
4 castor oil
4 sweet almond oil
4 grapeseed oil

I have been using the sage calculator and for my first two batches I didn't realize that the low end for the liquid was considered discounting liquid but they were able to come out and be cut within 6 hours and after a month now my first batch is fine so I stayed with my trend and used 32 ounces goats milk frozen. If I had more milk it would have been better because my milk was melted about 3/4 way through the lye and it got it about 125 ant turned yellow even mixing in an icebath. It caught me off guard and in one stir it went from white to yellow almost instantly.

Then I added 8 teaspoons honey.

It looked a little grainy untill after a few minutes with the stick blender.

I added about 3 ounces finely ground rolled oats (mostly powder) and four ounces of vanilla bean fo from wsp at light trace.

I'm hoping it will lighten but even if it doesn't I'm happy with the creamy golden look it has now. It's gonna spend 24 hours in the freezer then the same in the fridge then ill let it come to room temp and ill post cut pics. Thanks again for answering my questions when I planned this one.

Thats a great idea for a log mold. I like how you think. What do you line your mold with?

Yeah sometimes its not always perfect, but its close enough.

This time to line I used 3.5 mil heavy duty plastic sheeting left over from hurricane season. I want something reusable so we'll see after I wash it off.
