Using Flavor Oils as Fragrance in Lotion?

I've got a flavor oil that I really like and would like to add it to some lotion to punch up the aroma of the fragrance oil I want to use. Will that work?
 
it's safe, but beyond that I couldn't say how well it will work. give it a shot.
 
Flavor oils are not as strong as fragrance oils so they can be lip safe. There is a chance that if you go above a recommended amount the flavor oil could be irritating on the skin. Try it and see.
 
yes, I should clarify that you need to stay at or below the usage level recommended by the supplier.
 
Thanks y'all. I had asked the vendor at the same time as I did here and her answer was that it would be fugitive and probably not last as long as a regular FO. Since I need more jars anyway and this is for xmas gifts, I decided to order a regular FO. But eventually I'll try it. Maybe a comparison using the same receipe....
