Unusual soap in a catalog

It looks to me like a pretty standard CP soap website with various designs and scents. If your friend asked you to post it here to help with marketing and selling those soaps, that isn't allowed unless your friend has signed up as a sponsor or vendor with SMF and paid the appropriate fee for that.

My friend sent it to me because we tell or send send each other things that would interest the other. My friend does not make soap. She makes jewelry & I'm about to send her illustrations on wire designs I saw. The soap is different TO ME. Guess it's everday stuff to members here.

Nothing interesting or different that I can see, please elaborate.
Thought I was being helpful giving crafters ideas. Never saw soap like this on the forum. I guess this is exactly what you are all making.

What did you find unusual about these soaps?
For some reason my re didn't post. In a nutshell I thought it was different

I guess we want to know what specifically you thought was interesting. Was it the swirls or the ingredients? Or the lovely photography?

We have a thread somewhere here where we were putting things like this -- sort of a collection of interesting soap we spotted out on the Internet. Anyone remember what was that thread called?

You said you never saw soap like this on the forum - photos like this are all over, try the Photo Gallery or What soap thing have you done today - plenty to look at, the link you posted had nothing new that wasn't already here, that's why it was confusing to a lot of people.

I especially thought the one with 2 bottles of Guinness Extra Stout Beer in it would be challenging to formulate. I also thought the combo of scents would give soapers ideas. There was someone on the forum that was trying to replicate Pears soap.
I saw one online that looked like a roacky ocean coast. Shoulda saved a picture. It was too beautiful to use. It should be framed or done in batik IMHO.

Did you not look in the gallery threads here? Nor search and find the many soaps made with beers, including Guiness? You're missing out.

Two bottles worth of beer, though-- they don't say how big their "small" batch was. From what I've read, yes. Beer soap is a challenge. But two bottles was probably just fine for the size batch they likely made. It's true, there are a lot of people here who make beer soap. I am not one of them. As a hobby soaper who is also lazy, I have no interest in tackling the pitfalls of a beer or a wine soap. 😁

No I didn't. I looked into what I needed to know to make what I have it mind... all over the internet on blogs, youtube & anywhere that turned up in a search. I have slow internet in the foothills here too.
I do many forms of art & at this point, due to running out of room, I mostly only make things that are useful. Mostly. I looked at those links above & there are some beautiful creations but I really would rather frame them than use them :). I'd be more inclined to make postcards of those type of designs that I could send to friends & family or weave a design into an entranceway floor covering.
I found lots of information here & just thought I'd give back by posting interesting soap.

Sigh. I have so much trouble with this site not loading right.
Anyway, I agree. But if you washed your kid's mouth out with this it would double as a tranquilizer. Kidding!

@gutreactor thank you for sharing something you find interesting. If you find something particularly spectacular, consider posting it in the browsing soap pics thread that @artemis linked - I'd love to see that thread revived. Maybe I should do some searching....
