Well...finally I got something right! I am a beginner at making soap.
Been at it for about a month. But,,,I am addicted and cannot stop.
What do you experts think of my efforts so far?

Hello Shutejute and welcome to the forum! I'll say you're a natural! They are beautiful soaps and your pics are divine.....just imagine how great your soaps will be when you really get your act together .....(actually, I can't picture anything better :wink: )

Thanks, I got my line with black mica. I really do not like it though...like the look, but not the MESS! I used panty hose to sift it, but it gets all over everything! I think I would like to try cocoa. It's not hard to do...just get a good trace so your bottom layer stays where and how you want it to.

Actually...I do not know now I got that brilliant orange color! I guess my colorant reacted with the orange absolute EO or the Sweet orange scent. It was a NICE surprise though. I danced a jig when I unmolded it.

Niiiice. Looks like you've been doing it forever. Love the name "Orange A-Peel" (lol...awesome) and the first soap is my fave. I've been wanting to try a strawberry soap that is similar.
