With a dead sea mud with activated charcoal hot process soap. I think I deem this one a success, even the ITP swirl I tried hehehe

Yet again, I've made soap that looks like stone. Might have to make that a signature style lol

I wanna say thank you to everyone in this forum for all your valuable info.. Couldn't have made usable soap at all if not for you guys :)

Thank you @lsg and @shunt2011!

Looks good! And, hey, why not...there's Stone Soup (a children's story), why not Stone Soap?
Now that's an idea to play around with hehe, and thank you!

I like it too. How is it scented? I have some dead sea clay I've wanted to try but not sure about what direction to go with it...
Thank you! Yknow what.. It could be just my nose.. But the dead sea mud has a smell that I like.. mud and rain and something else so I left this unscented. Also, I wasn't sure what to scent it with without obliterating that mud smell I like haha but I imagine the woody scents could go with the mints for this one.

Cellador, I've made a dead sea mud soap with orange, may change, lemon, and eucalyptus EO's. I'm not sure the ratios off the top of my head (I know they weren't equal) and there might even be another EO in there too. It sold really well for me last year, and I've got another batch on my to do list. I should probably get that done, I bought the mud a few months ago...

Humblebee & Me does a Dead Sea Mud soap that she scents with Petitgrain and Orange 6x. I've made it and it smells amazing... refreshing, yet earthy.

It looks like Humblebee & Me's recipe calls for about 77% Petitgrain and 23% Orange 5-fold, which sounds amazing. Did the scent stick around for a bit after a 4-week cure?

Dawni, I meant to also add that I love the look of your stone/marble soap!

It did. I still have a small bar in my bathroom (not sure atm when I made it) and I can still smell the petitgrain.

Thanks, Misschief, I can't wait to give this blend a try!

(And Dawni, I'm also now intrigued by Dead Sea mud, so will have to put it on my ever-growing list of ingredients to hunt down!)

Thanks @Saponificarian :)

Dad works in the middle east so its not too costly for him to bring from there than to buy from here so u have a huge tub of it.

When I somehow manage to convince my teenager that we need to bond over mud masks this is what we use too. Feels very different than kaolin or bentonite..

Oh, and thank you :)

I have to add petitgrain on my list too.. Must confess I have no idea what it smells like. So thanks also @Misschief!

This looks great Dawni! And I can see in the photo that your loaf mold is the same as my new loaf mold. My first batch I plan to make in it is a lime and coconut scented soap.
Thank you! Now that makes me wanna get a drink lols

Rocks, gems and stones are all the rage right now. I’ve always loved rocks though. My 12yo and I have lots of fun with his rock tumbler. Your soap sounds amazing @Dawni
