Hi Mates, This us waseem from Karachi, I have a problem which I repeatedly face is that I am trying to make transparent soap, but my soap becomes milky white upon curing or solidification.
I don't use Alcohol as per customer demand, instead I use Propylene glycol. My recipe includes Coconut oil, stearic acid, Glycerin, Castor oil, PG, Coco betaine and sorbitol.
Please help me overcome this problem as I only need transparent soap

I had an issue with this too and I had to expariment to fix it. For me, the problem was with the solvent(alcohol and Glycerin for me, propylene glycol and Glycerinfor you). I increased the amount and let it cook thoroughly with the other soap ingredients while covered with 2 layers of plastic sheet to prevent evaperation. Also you can add a bit of sugar dissolved in water at the end to add to the clarity.
