Titanium White problems

Does, anyone have a supplier of Titanium white, that doesn't look grainy? I tried Bulk Apoth, Bramble berry powder & liquid and a few others without success, they all look like a cream sauce that broke in my CP soap. Am I missing something all my other colors blend without issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you get oil or water soluble? I use water soluble since it seems to go very readily into the water. However, when adding it to the batter, I have found that it almost always has to be blended with either a stick blender or a small hand blender (like a Badger) to get it smoothly and fully mixed in. Otherwise, it will look curdly.

I always soak mine well before soaping so I don't get any lumps or grains in there. Still needs to be blended, at least in my experience.

Can you post of picture of your soap? I have to wonder if you are getting glycerin rivers in the TD.

I do use a mini whisk to mix it into the oil, I've warmed the oil, I've done it days before in a squeeze bottle trying to get it to dissolve properly. It's not glycerin rivers because I can see it on my mixing stick before I even enter it into my batter. I have always mixed all of my colors into oil I have never tried water so I'm not sure if these titanium powders are water-soluble.

That sounds like you have water soluble TD and are mixing it with oil. Look at the description of what you ordered and it should tell you if you have water or oil

Or do the quick experiment of putting a bit in a cup and adding about an equal amount of water. Water soluble TD will go into the water quickly, with a few swirls of the cup.

I had similar problems with water soluble, oil soluble and one that claimed to be either water or oil soluble.
I settled on Nuture Soap's TD and mix it with oil. I mix it throughly and now have no problems.

My TD says mix with oil but it goes grainy every time. So I mix it with water and it works perfectly. Go figure!
