Who else here loves them as much as me?
I don't think i will ever buy new clothing again...except maybe underwear and whatnot..haha.
Right now i'm really into the 90's look with babydoll dressesand rompers with mary janes and combat boots.
Anyways, just wondering who else on here is thrifty

Me, me, me!! I adore thrift store shopping. Not only can you find awesome clothes, but I have found great stuff for soapmaking too like silicon molds and stainless steel bowls! :)

When I make gel candles I always hit the thrift stores for glassware.

I love them! But being a 6 foot tall giant, I can never find thrift store clothes that fit. So I still have to shop at specialty stores and pay through the nose to find clothes unfortunately.

Though I do like to find things for the home in thrift shops. Some of the finds will surprise you sometimes. :)

I love them! I usually end up buying clothes and lots and lots of books, but I've also picked up a few crock pots for next to nothing that I use to make HP soap :D

My mom works at the local Goodwill. I haven't bought "new" clothes in nearly a year, lol!!

I loved that look in the 90's.. I still have my suede lumber jack boots that I bought from the Victoria's Secret catalog in 1996 for $75. I wore them w/many baby doll dresses. I still wear them too.

I Love the Resale Shops! First passion is little glass dishes... Can't get enough... Wood foot stools... Old furniture to paint and recover... Now I'm into the clothes,,,,, South East Wisconsin has great resale! My sister comes up from Chicago and can't believe our resale stores!

Oh...now we're talking about one of "other" favorite hobbies! Thrifting!

My most awesome find from last week?
A weaving loom. An honest to goodness loom at the Goodwill for $50!
I threw my body across it so no one else could see it. "MINE!" I whisper-shouted.

Do I know if it works? Nope. Do I know if all the pieces are there? Nope. Do I know how to use it? Not a clue. But I will. Just give me a minute. I taught myself how to soap...(using the interwebs and this forum  ) Pretty sure I can figure out a loom too!

I darn near danced out of the store I was so happy!

I haunt the thrift stores at least once a week. I'm always finding all sorts of good stuff to haul home. I lurve thrifting!

I loove thrift stores too!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm lucky to be near several- Goodwill, Salvation Army and other assorted. A Savers just opened up not too long ago, too. I almost bought a long cigar box as a soap mold several months ago, for like $3, and now I'm so sorry I didn't.

My mom used to take us to them all the time and we could all pick out anything we wanted! There were four of us, so this was a big deal. I go whenever I can, and I've even taken my 15yr old daughter and her friends (and that's tough in this Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister crazed society) They got over it when they realized they can get designer clothes there for a fraction of what they pay at the mall. Then we go home and have a big washing party! I always love checking out the kitchen items, I bought my stainless steel soap pot there for $4.

I pretty much buy all of my clothes there, at least my favorite ones :D
My husband gets so peeved when I tell people that I got an item at thrift, but I see it as a conquest. Last week at Savers I got a Wilton silicon heart mold for $2.99- yay!
