I would bet most of their customers have not actually used a well cured bar of soap, so they have no idea the soap is not the best.
They have drunk the Kook-Aid...aka Marketing. Reading some of the early interviews with Kellum, dude has a heck of an ego. He considers himself to be a 'disruptor', he was going to 'industrialize' artisan soap making, take the 'mystery' out of it, be the "Starbucks of soap". And if that wasn't enough to make me dislike him, add in his negative attitude and ignorance of animal fat soaps and I have nothing but contempt. Oh, and I love (sarcasm) the part where on one hand he wants to get "making" a loaf of soap from three hours down to a minute, yet on the other hand, he doesn't want his stores to be like "convenience stores".
