When the tape would become loose inside the cassette and begin to unravel, one could insert a pencil into one of the round holes in the cassette to tighten up the tape so it wouldn't all come out and become trash. I've had to do this at times.......guess I'm telling my age.


Not sure how it didn't quote the whole thing so I've added Kiti's "pencil" to fix whatever I didn't do correctly.
