Hi Friends! It's been a tumultuous year with lots going on, but I did manage to make 19 batches of soap nonetheless. That's about half my usual production over a year.

Love the lime, basil and mandarin, I made that this year too, it's funny, I saw it as a green soap, bottle green underneath and lime green on top. The scent just stays and stays, one of my fave as well. Love all your colours. :)

What is your secret on the perfect stamp technique?

Thankyou! Hit it with a mallet and hope for the best! 😁
Beautiful @KiwiMoose 😍 I don’t know anything about kawakawa. How do you use it?
I infuse OO with it for a week or so before making the soap. Then whizz it up all together so the fine little 'dots' you see are all ground kawakawa. I also make a kawakawa 'tea' for the water content.

Kawakawa is often used in balms here - for soothing inflamed skin. Here's a link to some research done:
https://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/news/..., gastrointestinal and genitourinary problems.

Just read your link to this, is it specific to NZ or would we have something here similar by a different name ? Sounds interesting.
Specific to NZ sorry : (
But it does say this: Kawakawa (Piper excelsum) is a relative of black pepper (Piper nigrum). Maybe you could se if this can be used in the same way?
