Teeny tiny workshop

Today, I treated a couple of Youth Group girls to an afternoon of soaping! It was part of the last hoorah for Ro, who is heading if to school in California tomorrow!

I bought containers with lids so that they could safely transport their soap home. They went home with a bunch of instructions and an ingredient list. They seemed pretty excited to have made it themselves.

How neat, @artemis! May I ask what colorant was used to get that blue?

Wonderful idea to share your knowledge. I like the green and orange soap patterns. Brings to mind an evergreen tree. And I too am curious about the blue.

The colors were all from Nurture:
Caribbean Blue
Savage Garden
Copper Penny

Also, Kaolin clay in both batches. But I can't remember where I got it.

The copper Penny was mixed with a little oil and swirled on the top.

Aura went with me and acted as my assistant. She knew exactly what I was looking for whenever I needed something. She's headed back to campus soon, so I will lose my personal assistant again!
