I agree with
@ScentimentallyYours - when describing the concentration of lye solution, aka water:lye ratio, one needs to follow the standard notation of water first, then lye. The risk of confusing someone is too great, with potentially dangerous outcomes.
I see that this post is a year old. However, there aren't a ton of comments. I would like to teach possibly next year. Thanks
@cjisler for your information. There is so much to learn and I could not teach a 3 hour class. I was thinking more along the lines of a 6 week, 3 hour class each week. There is a ton of information online, but some people like to get out of the house, learn in a classroom setting and ask questions.
