What causes this texture?

I am pretty sure it is air bubbles but want to make sure. I test with small batches about 385g of oils. I then pour into this mold. I think cause of the small size air gets whipped in, but it only seems to be on the edges, I do not have bubbles through out the soap. That’s is the only reason I think I may be wrong. Even small batches I use CPOP. This was my first test with tallow as my main oil so I was not sure if that was a cause either.

This is not air bubbles whipped into the soap batter.

This is "silicone rash" caused by CPOPing soap in a silicone mold for too long and too hot. This soap has a fairly bad case of this rash, compared to what I normally see on this forum.

If you must CPOP, preheat the oven to a lower temperature and turn the oven off before putting the soap in the warm oven.
