I saw that Southern Garden Scents just added a Tasmanian Lavender. Not sure it it smells the same though. I've never smelled any version.

I've been to the Tasmanian lavender farm and the smell is just wonderful when the lavender is out , but the oil is quite expensive being an EO, so maybe getting an FO would be the next best thing.

Tassi Lavender was one of my most favorite scents from Southern Soapers (and my lavender of choice to soap with). I heard that MMS was able to duplicate it, so out of curiosity I placed an order with them the other day for a 1 oz sample and I just got it today (fast and efficient service!). I must say, they did an excellent job. I haven't soaped it yet, but It's spot on to SS's OOB.

I do like the English Lavender from ScentWorks but Tassi was my favorite.

I now have both...the first I got from MMS and just yesterday the one came from firstchoice (who bought the rights to the formulas). I made the first from MMS and I'm going to do the same recipe with the firstchoice and see if there is any difference. I never got to smell any of the original from Southern Soapers. I got a request for a lavender soap from my 93 year old grandmother so since everyone raves about it, I figured might as well try it. I'll let you guys know.

Maybe they have enough business and don't want anymore .

It's the same. I'll buy it from SGS because they're not all the way across the country from me, they have flat rate shipping anywhere in the US that ground service is available, they ship in glass bottles and because I've bought from them a lot and really like SGS.

Anyway, I might have to wait as I've just put in an order to pick up tomorrow from NCS. Yeah, guess who's soaping Saturday.

Relle so lucky to be able to pick up from NCS did you see Essentials have bought in a new line of oils I am going to have to order a few samples next time I replemish my supplies :0)

Yes, I did Lyn, but a little apprehensive after all the troubles people have been having with the other FO's. Let us know how you go.
NCS -
I bought 2 new ones they have on line - Drakkar, Oakmoss/Amber. The driftwood which is new doesn't have any smell to it so didn't get that.
I also got Pomegranite(yum - OOB),Yuzu - OK,Ocean Breeze - nice OOB, and some more of my usuals. Love the sun washed linen.
