Good luck! I am still able to do mine with very little difficulty. I only had one that was stubborn and that was likely because I was impatient :)

Also, I have found that once you use it 4-5 times without any liner or anything, your mold kind of gets "seasoned" and each time it releases a bit easier.
That has been my experience anyway...

It probably wouldn't hurt to maybe put a small layer of a mold release (silicone spray, mineral oil - something) on first too.
I did that with my very first batch, and it worked, completely forgot it the second time and the soap came out with no problems, so don't do it anymore, but maybe it would help with your recipe?

IT WORKED IT WORKED!!! i am so happy with the results, do you realize how much easier this will be now? No more expense with freezer paper ( or cutting it ) and the time saved will be awesome. I think you are right about the pvc needing to be "seasoned" because i did try it naked when i first got it and it did get stuck. Sweet.... off to wash and refill!

Great info. I just picked up some pvc and test caps today. I am going to try the no-lining thing, followed by the hour freeze and cool to room temp suggestion.

This is the best forum ever.

Since posting this thread 4/4/13, TODAY over a month later my soap FINALLY came out of that PVC pipe... It was tough, yet the product smells and feels wonderful. Now it's time to try my luck again, yet this time I'm trying it without the Freezer Paper. :D

I use PVC for my CP soaps and after 24 hours I put it in the oven @170 for 10ish min's and it slides right out. I don't line or prep the PVC either.

I have found if you lay the mold on the floor and step on it, rolling it around under your feet it loosens it enough for it to come out. I've never been unable to unmold using this method. Although I only have about 10 batches of soap under my belt, and only recently tried this 4 batches ago.
