I hate lining mine with freezer paper... im afraid NOT to line it and end up with stuck soap but if you say it works, then i will have to give it a try!

yep, it works for me.
this one was unmolded after 19.5 hours in the mold. 18hours to set up, and hour in the freezer and a half-hour out of the freezer. I actually unmolded too soon as it was very very soft and that is why the top is all dented and messed up looking.

wow, are those round spots embeds? how did you get the swirls? I have been wanting to try somethig new other than in the pot swirls for round soaps... it looks very cool.

No, not embeds. I split the soap into 4 or 5 (can't remember now) squeeze bottles and colored each squeeze bottle a different color and then just alternately squeezed them into the mold - up on the side, down in the middle, in a swirl pattern, just all different every time with each of the different colors.
I probably couldn't duplicate if I tried... LOL

The scent is Fruit Slices from Peak.

I love it! Unfortunately my batter gets so thick so fast I couldnt imagine trying to sqeeze it out of a bottle. Good thinking though, its really different!

This was split right after it was emulsified and very very very thin... which is another reason it was so soft.

Another tip when using pvc molds - place them in a bucket when pouring if using the plastic wrap method.

One of mine started to tip after pouring. It knocked into the other pvc, and in 2 seconds, 4 lbs of cp liquid soap had sprayed over the walls, counter and floor.

Cindy, Have you managed to get your soap freed from the dreaded PVC pipe yet?

Thanks for asking. The answer is a big darn NO~ I guess this batch is going to test me. I won't give up on the pVC method, yet it's getting a bit frustrating "with laughing in the back ground" Breath In, Breath Out, Move On.. As Jimmy Buffet would say. Have a great Sunday Badger..

I am so sorry your soap is being so stubborn, Cindy! I hope you manage to get it out soon. I know I would be terribly frustrated at this point myself!

Oh Cindi! I would be so totally irked! When I first started soaping I put some batter in these cute little glass containers. They were slightly flared so I though they would come out easily.......HA!!!!! I had to wait a long time until they dried out a good bit until they would come out.

I figure this is my "Budda" "Grasshopper" lesson of life. This is an area I've been working on for awhile. I shall not unmold a soap before its time (yeah right) Bahahahaha~ Time to go have Pho Ga soup, listen and Dance to some Blues/Rock n Roll music and ride the Harley with my sweetie.
Maybe Monday the soap will get skinny and come out of the PVC.
Have a BeaUtiful day guys, Cheers

LOL all that is too much work. If I'm gonna put saran/zip lock on it I might as well just stop there. I've never had a leak, and I've never lined my pvc either. No waste, and it pops right out. :)
So tonight I decided to put this to the test to see how well the "no liner" method works since I almost exclusively use PVC now..... I will let you know when I unmold (or not!) tomorrow... stay tuned... I have faith!
