Looking for recommendations on stick blenders. I'm blaming mine for recent air bubbles. I can't drop the soap to get the air bubbles out because the embeds will move around. And, I think I need a new SB soon anyway.
I bought this one which I believe is the one @Zing recommended. https://a.co/d/ffbr1ob
I haven’t used it a ton but do like it. Not sure why I got the one with the chopper. I forgot the one I bought came with that until I looked it up. Now I have to think of things to chop. 😉

I got a waring quikstik one on eBay recently for the exact same reason. Does the job perfectly but the shaft doesn't disconnect and it's a very bulky thing. Air bubbles banished so far🤞🏿

I do love the disconnect on mine.

I love the bell shape on that one! Does the stick detach?

Also, someone on here recommended fiberglass trays for my baking rack a few years ago. They were from a restaurant supply and were kind of pricey, but they have been Amazing!!! I'm ready to get a few more, but I can't remember where I got them, or what they were called. Anyone?

I suggest plastic coated if you can. I thought the glazing in my crock pot was scratched. It was metal from my blender ground off. Glass (what clazing is made of) is harder than steel.

Also, I don't recommend higher prices. They all fail because of capacitors that are designed to fail after a certain number of power cycles (In SOOOO many of our electrics). Unless you get an industrial unit, you'd be lucky to get one where the fatality function fails and it just lasts forever. This is how they make stuff now.

I have to agree with @squidstings; household-grade electrics really aren't built to last anymore.

I found these on Amazon during prime days and bought a bunch for $9 each https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MJSRRC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I actually like the lower power of this cheaper unit, I can control trace better. I don't like the shape of the bell, it holds a lot of air, but for $9 I'm happy to take the extra few seconds to tip the batter bowl and tap a few extra times. Whats nice is that I can hear if there is any air trapped when I whizz it, so I can quickly stop and re-tap.

What I really like is having a half dozen waiting for me when this one breaks, all for the price of a nice one with features I'll never use.
