Soap Mold Attempt Failure

I managed a decent mold for under $10 with Basswood strips from the hobby store and 5 minute epoxy from the Dollar Store. A sharp knife made all the cuts needed and a dollar store Velcro strap can be purchased to hold the end on.

I plan to build a larger version and I'll do a step x step photo tutorial or video and post when I get it done.

Oh yeah I had an epic failure with trying to make a small 2 pound log mold and I wasn't even using a hard wood. I am mechanically inclined but I guess that doesn't extend to woodworking. :D

I would love to see a video also. My husband is getting into woodworking. With the help of his father he made our dinning room table last Christmas. I would think a simple box would be within his abilities. Then maybe one day I could get him to make one of those curing racks I've see floating around on here!
