sloughing bran

I have a bar of soap where sloughing bran is listed as an ingredient. What is it? Does anyone know where I can get this for use in my soap? Or what I can use that is similar..

Is it a Kiehl's soap? If so, it's just oat bran. I think they call it sloughing bran because it's for exfoliating.

You can get oat bran at the grocery store.
