Well, I know some soapers use it, so it's not like you CAN'T....just some info I thought you might like to be aware of. That's all.

Yep I'll probably try it but if I get DOS(I'm learning so many new acronyms lately) then it's game over for the canola oil! lol

I've used it up to 20% in a couple soaps in April. So far no DOS. But I will say that I'm not a fan of it. It makes my soap feel kind of plastic/shiny and it doesn't have the same lathering effect like olive oil. Just my limited experience two cents worth.
