I'll have to convert the recipe to grams to make this, its annoying because he's got the lye in grams and ounces but nothing else.

I suppose you could just transfer the percentages of the oils to a soap calc and then have it give you back the recipe in grams or whichever measurement you like. You would have to calculate the clay specifically but nothing else.

I put the recipe through soapcalc (I assumed that palm oil RDB is palm oil.. never used palm myself) and these are the numbers:

Hardness 28
Cleansing 13
Conditioning 69
Bubbly 31
Creamy 32
Iodine 69
INS 136
Lauric 10
Myristic 4
Palmitic 12
Stearic 2
Ricinoleic 18
Oleic 42
Linoleic 9
Linolenic 0

Based on the shaving soap discussions that I've found on here, I'm surprised that the stearic value is so low. The numbers look good otherwise in my opinion but it might be a soft bar unless cured for a long time is my guess. If anyone tries this recipe, I'd be interested in hearing the results.
