As I'm setting up my new soap room and going through my supplies, I found the package pictured below. I looked up the receipt (July 2022, lol) to confirm that yes, I ordered kokum butter, which should have an INCI name of GARCINIA INDICA SEED BUTTER. But the ingredients listed are the INCI names for shea butter and kukui nut oil. What?? Has anyone seen this before?
Of course, MakeYourOwn.buzz has been absorbed by WSP, so I can't go back to anyone there and ask them what on earth they sent me and why it is labeled as kokum butter. I'm open to hearing any info that any of y'all might have about this.
