Shave soap lather question. Need more cushion!

I made some of the MdC clone but put sodium lactate in it as opposed to glycerine. It's amazing. Then I made some more but put 5% Shea butter and 5% lanolin and adjusted the cocoanut oil to suit. It is very cushiony but takes a while to lather up well. So...next batch for me will be maybe 8% Shea butter and 2% lanolin as I have heard 5% lanolin is too much
