I am seriously thinking about selling my soaps, but don't know exactly how to get started. I've purchased 10 labels from VistaPrint, just for the purpose of testing, and I like the look. I am about to order more, but need to know what's the first thing I need do to start selling. Thank you all in advance.

Go to your insurance agent and the chamber of commerce.
Are you familiar with all the rules and guidelines regarding soap making?

There is a whole section here for selling. The question is is your soap ready to sell. Most will not sell till they have a few hundred bars under their soap belt. Do a search on here about selling soap and read all the threads before.

Insurance is a must! Make sure you have been making soap for at least a year. Not only so you know you are using proper amounts of ingredients, but so you know how much of a shelf life a given recipe has before DOS or rancidity. That is all I know since I don't sell soap, but I read about what others are doing.

Here is the section of the forum that talks about business. There is a lot of helpful info and many are here that can answer any questions. This site is nice like that. :)
