I fear my cucumber cilantro adventure may have gone awry. Everything was fine until I added my sub-par, Hobby Lobby cucumber melon scent to my soap. Darn! I know it's not great fragrance, but it's all I could get in my impatient world.

I soaped at 90 degrees F and used 2% sodium lactate in the batch. Could it have been the sodium lactate?

Anyway....I had to work like a demon to get the stuff into the mold and then shoved it in a 170degree oven for 1 hour and now it is asleep in the warm oven.

The soaping gods are testing me.

Everytime I've had a soap that I thought was crap, it turned out great.

Went through gel and all is well. Pics tonight. Not what I was going for at all, but not the worst.
