I just wanted to know if the bath salt recipe with dead sea salt will work with just regular sea salt???

the recipe calls for -
1. Place 8 oz. (1/2 lb.) of Dead Sea Salts into a ziploc baggie. (Do not rinse salt
first).
2. Then add approx. 8 drops of gel tone dye and approx. 12 drops of body
safe fragrance oil. (You may need to adjust the amount of fragrance
depending on the potency of the fragrance you use.)
3. Zip the bag shut and shake. Work around with your fingers until color
is distributed evenly.
4. Pour into an 8 oz. PET clear jar, Genie Bottle, or 10 oz. Apothecary Jar and close with lid.
5. Use 2 Tbls. to 2 cups in your bath. Add to running warm/hot water and enjoy!

Let me know if it works the same with fine sea salt.

i would assume so. try it and see. or use a mixture of a few different sized salts if you have them.

i'm not a bath taker, but am curious what the hype over the bath salts is all about?

not that i have anything against them, just curious

how does one rinse salt? or rather WHY would one?

sounds like washing off ice cubes to me.

Salty,
Bath Salts are to soften the water and make your skin feel awesome, the scent added is often one for relaxation, they also soothe tired aching muscles and help with circulation.

Certain individuals with medical conditions or pregnant women should always check with their physician before using them though.
