I am looking for a forever home for this adorable kitty that we believe is a SHE ;-) I have saved her from a life on the streets. I don't have the heart to send her to the pound!!! She was really scared when I first caught her. But before the first day was up she was in my lap purring louder than you would think a kitten this size could. We are maxed out on pets! So if you know someone in central Louisiana that wants a kitty........

What an adorable little girl! I am about as far from your area as one can get and still be on the same continent, or I would volunteer in a heartbeat.

What a sweet baby! We have greyhounds that are not small animal safe, and I want a kitty SO BAD! Hoping someday to find a Maine Coon that is big enough for them not to see as a "small animal."

We had a small kitten show up and adopt us about 3 years ago. We had to keep her in the extra bedroom because she would crawl in through the dryer duct hole and we were afraid Tara would "love her to death." We took a photo and made a poster and put it in our vets office and found a home for it that way. Good luck!

I think I found her a home. Going to meet up with them tomorrow. Both our house and theirs has been sick with the flu so we both need an extra day before we run around in this cold weather. This next week I will have to go back to the rental house where I trapped her and set the traps again.

I knew there were cats over there, but didn't know until recently how bad and how many there were. I had been at one of the houses doing something, left and then came back after dusk. When I rounded the corner I saw a group of cats, at least a dozen. They were tearing into the tentants trash and spreading it out to try to find something to eat. And there were babies. All the adults are really wild! And they are causing fleas to be infested in the yard. I hate to take any animal to any shelter, but I have to take the adults. They would tear you up!!! I REALLY don't want this tentant to get tired of picking up the trash they mess up and she has a daughter with health conditions.........fleas, ewwww. So I'm doing what I can. The cats will go and the Bug man will keep any fleas under control. I guess things like this get out of hand when the back side of that whole street is a cemetary :/

I hope the prospective home works out! The pound is best when there's nothing else to do and the cats you bring there will be fed and warm at least. You're doing all the right things.
