I finally got around to using my single cavity molds and my pink clay. Used course salt this time so it will be really scrubby. Scented with coconut.

these are from homemade molds. I used plastic single serving potato chip containers that have the bottom coated in 100% pure silicone to make the pattern.

Looks good! Let me know if you feel the scrubby difference. Also, did you coat the single serving chip cans with the silicone or do they come with it? Can you tell we don't buy chips around here LOL I love the size.

So pretty and rustic! Love the colors.

I put silicone in the bottom of the chip containers, they were way too deep without it and had a weird shape. This is what the chip containers made before, see the scooped bottom?

They look great and what a great idea for recycling. I have to say I'm a little disappointed though, I thought by the title it was going to be some kind of flower covered in salt I could eat!!! I guess I should go eat supper :)

They look great, I love the flower mold..It isn't spam it is dusty rosey pink, amiright?

You have to be careful using the course salt soap right on your body I cut my leg a few days ago with one. The course salt doesn't melt fast enough I guess so it can be a little gritty to use but I still really like it:)

When I bought the course salt, I didn't realize it would that course. I think I'd like something a bit finer but still kinda chunky, I'll eventually find what I like best. I will be careful though, don't want to peel my skin off lol.

Thanks Judy, the pink is getting even darker. I can't believe only 1 Tsp of clay made such a nice shade of pink. It still smells like ice cream, even my hubby who doesn't like scented soap likes this one. Its too bad he can't use salt bars.
