my first salt bars!! a little less then half stuck but I was thinking it would be worse than it was--I'll take it. tried one to see what it was like--made 2 days ago--lathered but it was more like a thick foam. will keep testing that bar off and on and hid the rest away

Even if they don't seem harsh at 2 days old - wait until they are at least 6 months and you will be able to really see a noticeable difference. I don't like using my salt bars until they are at least 2 years old.
I know that's not feasible for everyone.

no I am too old to wait 2 years for them to cure :) but I can only imagine how they will get better with time--cant wait to see

Not cure - like most soaps they'll be cured within the standard 6-8 weeks, but for the best bar, I personally won't use one less than 2 years old. They just are too harsh at any younger for me.
