I was trying to work out how to package and sell my salt bars when they start to weep, usually during high humidity or hot days they decide to get pretty wet. I've been using damp-rid in the curing room which so far has been helping but then I though, what am I to do when it comes to selling the bars? sooooooo........... I thought if I packed a small sachet of silica beads in with each soap would this help? ya know like tose little sachet packets ya get when ya buy a new pair of shoes or sometimes in the buretto packets to keep things fresh? that stuff.

Yes that would absolutely work. I don't know where you would buy those from though?
You could also buy the "damp rid" that you have been using, and open up the container, and make little pillows out of tissue paper or something, and put some damp rid in each on, then tape to the inside of the label.

woohoo cool bananas, Chrissy, I found a camera place that sells them here in aussie but I also found out that they are also used for cat litter, ya know those little clear beads with the odd blue one chucked in for good measure?.
I like the damp-rid idea, I have lots of that stuff here, i'll give it a go and see what happens. Thaaaaaaanks Chrissy :D
