I recently made a, HP, KOH glycerine liquid batch.
50/50 Coconut and Canola oil
50/50 water/glycerine:lye mix
Colloidal gold and silver too.

I tested it while it was stil paste, and was quite happy. Nice lather, cleaned well, even turmeric stains on the fingers. I diluted it all at roughly 1.3:1. Mixed it all together and now it seems broken.

No lather at all. Even kills Dawn's lather. I dumped about an ounce into a bowl and got no lather. So either something changed in the tap water overnight, which I can't rule out where I live, or something in my soap changed. Like the TiN (Titanium Nitride) spreading throughout the soap as if it didn't breakup until late in the mix and was only partially mixed into the paste.

It seems to clean. Still testing that. I do get some scummy bubbles on the surface that don't interfere with cleaning.

Any thought? How to fix the lather? Any thoughts on Zanthan gum?

Thanks :)

Have you tried using an emulsifier in the soap. You can do just a sample to see if it works. You might also try adding GlucamateLT to a small sample.

I have some Soy Lecithin I can try. Not sure exactly how it'll help, but I have it. Easy to try and I have been procrastinating about using it :)

Don't have any Glucamate LT. This is meant to be just a dish soap. I didn't price it, but from what I read, I might use it with higher volume.

Thank you :)
