Refrigaratoring oils

I was wondering if keeping oils in the refrigarator would give them a longer shelf life?
Also how long would body lotions keep with Germaben ll-E?
I ask these questions because I only want to make for my own personal use and I want to experiment with different recipes until I find the perfect one.
This site with so many experienced people has a wealth of info. Just love it even though I haven't gotten all the ingredients to make anything yet but I'm working on that. I have my own honey and beeswax from our beehives
I want to make a soap for my hubby who has diabetese and the dry skin that goes with it, a sliky body lotion for myself, hand lotion, lip balm, solid perfume, and who knows what else once I get into it. Can hardly wait to get everything together.
Anyone care to be my mentor?

I have this info on a chart somewhere, but my brain will not allow me to find it. But......I refrigerate oils that have short shelf lives and/or sensitive to heat. Also adding ROE can help extend the shelf life. It is a good idea to keep all your oils in a cool dark place. The shed out back with no temp control in the middle of the summer is not a good idea. Try a forum search on oils+shelf+life, I know we have typed about it before.

Expiration of preservatives vary. Note the expiration on the actual bottle before using in a prep. Preservative type used will depend on your formulation. Good info on preservatives:

It's hot here almost year round, and when we're in the triple digits the a/c has a hard time keeping up. I've had to start keeping all of my oils and butters in the fridge.
