Rebatching and cure times??

Do re-batches need the same cure times as fresh soaps? If you have a nice old soap base you want to spice up, say a castile. Do the long cure qualities start over?
 
No not unless you add too much water or other liquid. Remember not to add anything that can spoil because saponification has already occurred.

What about if it's a fresh batch of say, a week or two old? Do the curing time start over?

Not really - you may want to give it a few days before selling. Just remember you have added liquid back in and if you used a lot then it will need to cute back out so it will set the clock back a bit.
