So in the past when I made batches of creams, I would simply just make the batches in stainless steel mixing bowl and scoop into jars later. However, I am now thinking of making larger batches maybe 1 or 2 gallon batches. I have been looking online and it seems a good way to do it is by using bucket/pails. Does anyone here use gallons buckets for mixing and storing?
I know you have to be careful not to add the ingredients at too hot of a temperature so I don't melt the buckets. When done with the bucket, do you clean it and reuse or toss it out? I certainly don't want any contamination. I have seen pail liners online, but not sure if really needed. Also, does anyone have a good seller they can recommend? Any suggestions are appreciated
