i demolded a batch of soap this afternoon and the outside looks fairly uniform in color but the inside almost looks swirled. kinda looks like some has cured and some hasn't. is this normal?

i've had this happen before in a PVC round mold. the outside of the circles was good and the inside seemed not cured.

any light you could shed will be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

thanks for the response.

what exactly should i do differently to avoid partial gel? is it too little or too much blending or something?

Basically, gel stage is when the soap heats up on its own. If you have a lot of insulation, your soap will gel. If you don't insulate, no gel. Gel is a personal preference, but partial gel will give you a variation on your look. Does this makes sense? Do a search on gel, and you will find a lot of information on it.
