I have done CP and HP in a crock pot but never tried CP/Oven Proc…yet…I like CP, and like doing HP but don’t like the fact of working so fast after the cook to glob in all in the mold before it sets up.
As I understand CPOP… You make the soap, bring it to trace, pour into your mold, then put in a warm oven (170 degrees) for 1 hour. Turn the oven off and leave it there overnight. By the next morning, the soap should be ready to cut.
(Does everyone agree pretty much with this???)
The big question I have is this. Can I stick my whole loaf mold in the oven? It’s just a wood loaf mold I made that I have lined with mylar.
This would solve all my problems with rushing and the end of the crock-pot cook to get it in the mold before it sets up and the top would be nice and smooth and not all chunked up..'
