Hi
Does anybody use popping corn oil to make soap with? I think it is corn oil coloured yellow so it imparts it's colour onto the popcorn. I imagine it does the same in soap?
I have sourced a fairly cheap supplier and am just wondering what it is like to soap with?

I've never heard of popping corn oil? What are/is the ingredients? Is it corn oil? It may just be coloured canola? I know Chrissy - you do a small test batch and tell us all about it

Tanya :)

I have not done so, but I have seen some soap made from the yellow popcorn popping oil. It turned out pale yellow. As long as you can find the SAP, go for it.

It's actually soybean oil colored with beta carotene...I've bought many a bottle intending to make soap with it....just to see what color it turns the soap (I've heard yellow to orange), but I LOVE my popcorn so I end up using it up all the time...
