Ghost swirl lye/water amount

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to do the ghost swirl but it is definitely doing a number on my brain lmao

I made the original recipe using 30% lye thinking this would be less math for me but it’s still so confusing.

My recipe is as follows (using 30% lye concentration)

Olive oil: 176.84g
Shea Butter: 123.79g
Coconut oil: 53.05g
Water: 109.63g
Lye: 46.99g

30% lye concentration:
Lye: 23.495g
Water: 54.815g

45% lye concentration:
Lye: 23.495g
Water: 28.72g

I divided the lye by 2 to get 23.495g

Am I on the right track?

I’d just adjust the lye concentration in the calc@lator and let it do the math…..
